New Patients

Choosing a new physician is worth doing carefully, and we want your first visit with Dr. Clark to be straightforward. Here is how to get started and what to expect.

Scheduling Your First Appointment

To schedule your first visit, call our office at (772) 208-6053 during business hours, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. We will find a time that works for you and let you know what to expect.

What to Bring

Bringing a few things with you makes the first visit far more productive:

  • A photo ID and your insurance card
  • A current list of your medications, including doses, along with any vitamins or supplements you take
  • Recent lab work, imaging, or records from previous physicians, if you have them
  • The names and contact information of any specialists currently involved in your care
  • Your questions — written down, so none of them get forgotten

If you cannot gather records before your visit, come anyway. We can request them afterward.

What to Expect

A first visit is mostly conversation. Dr. Clark will want to understand your medical history, the conditions you are managing, the medications you take and how they are working, your family history, and what matters to you about your health. She will perform an examination and, depending on what she finds, may order lab work or screenings.

You should leave understanding what was discussed and what happens next. If something is unclear, say so — explaining things plainly is part of the job.

Insurance and Payment

Please call our office at (772) 208-6053 before your visit to confirm that we accept your plan and to ask about coverage for the type of appointment you are scheduling. Bringing your insurance card to the first visit lets us verify your benefits directly.

A Note About Sending Us Information

Please do not send medical information, test results, or details about your symptoms by ordinary email. Regular email is not a secure way to share health information. Call the office instead, or bring what you have to your appointment.
